What you'd do

You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FAMILY HOUSING DEPARTMENT of COMNAVREG SE JAX.

Major duties

You will serve as the Housing Program Analyst for all Family, Unaccompanied, and Transient Housing matters. You will be in an environment of constantly changing priorities and criteria, keeps abreast of changing conditions and communicates effectively and efficiently with senior personnel within the Region and subordinate commands. You will serve as a housing enterprise analyst responsible for apprising higher authority on the status of military members occupying PPV housing. You will assist with the development and management of innovative business practices, initiatives, and dynamic program,; such ac; the Rental Partnership Program (RPP), solicitation and time-sensitive management of rental and sales listings. You will develop, justify, and defend budgets, such as the three-year budget and five-year management plan based on known and anticipated requirements.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing coordination and scheduling of repair, renovation, and other work efforts for a Housing organization; 2) Analyzing proposed programs and legislation affecting housing, housing construction and funding requirements for housing programs and advising higher authority of potential impacts; 3) Assisting with and resolving issues relative to policy development, policy interpretation and implementation, program management, oversight, compliance of business agreements and administration of housing activities for government-owned, leased, rented and/or PPV Family, Unaccompanied and Transient Housing.
