HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL/OA)
What you'd do
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL/OA) in the Headquarters of 4TH MARINE CORPS.
Major duties
You will serve as the subject matter expert on policies and procedures related to officer applications, orders, data input, and the processing, retention, and commissioning of officer applicants. You will coordinate and administer the Officer Procurement Programs within the Marine Corps District Area of Operation. You will be responsible for the training and development of recruiting personnel, ensuring adherence to administrative procedures, program functionality, and quality control of officer applications. You will ensure officer candidate data, databases, files, and historical statistics are maintained; prepare orders for summer training; and process Officer Candidate School drop reports. You will prepare correspondence, lists, vouchers, reports, email correspondence, and memoranda in accordance with established Navy and Marine Corps manuals and ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing mail. You will provide analytical data and analysis to evaluate program performance and quality control measures.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing administrative and clerical support duties, including processing applicant packages, administering background screenings, reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, managing administrative workflows, drafting written correspondence, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and using office automation tools.
