SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Major duties
You will brief for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization. You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action. You will plan work, set priorities and schedules work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work. You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Isolating, defining and resolving critical problems, developing new theories concerning budget, accounting, financial management programs AND providing interpretive/analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
