LOGISITICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a LOGISITICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT BRANCH - CODE 210.5 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Major duties
You will provide complete functional support in configuration, technical manual, repair parts and planned maintenance analysis. You will provide support using automated systems such as Ported Naval Shipboard Non-Tactical ADP Program (SNAP), Optimized SNAP, and Configuration Data Manager Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA). You will develop and document recommendations directed at improving logistics and supply support based on research, analysis and observations during Integrated Logistics Overhauls (ILO), Phased Maintenance Reviews (PMR). You will collect, analyze, review, and create various reports in conjunction with the stated assignments for use in evaluating, documenting, and reporting the Integrated Logistics support (ILS) support effectiveness and condition of Fleet units. You will review technical publications during various logistics events for availability and applicability of onboard support. You will participate in matters pertaining to configuration and logistics support at various meetings and conferences.
What you need to qualify
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-9) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience utilizing knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and supply procedures (e.g., identification of requirements, requisitioning, receipt control, storage inventory, accountability) to perform logistics management functions; and using an automated logistics system (e.g., Shipboard Non-Tactical Automated Data Processing Program (SNAP)) to support organizational logistics requirements.
