What you'd do
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, Frame Shop, located at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, TX. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits.
Major duties
Operates the cash register, collects money, makes change and issues receipts. Closes out the cash register, completes required paperwork and submits entire package to supervisor. Uses small equipment within the Frame shop, to include but not limited to the engraving machine and matt cutter. Prepares verbal and written estimates for customers, notifies customer when orders are complete. Calls in requests for framing supplies. Processes returns and credits with suppliers. Provides customer service, answers telephones. Places special orders. Stocks merchandise received. Set up, clean up and assistance with classes and workshops. Performs weekly, monthly, preventative maintenance on shop equipment.
