INSTALLATION ENERGY MANAGER
What you'd do
You will serve as a INSTALLATION ENERGY MANAGER in the Public Works Department of NAVAL AIR STATION LEMOORE.
Major duties
You will provide leadership, program management, and advice to the Installation Commanding Officer, Public works Officer (PWQ), Facility Managers and Building Energy Monitors, and others concerning the Energy Program. You will have thorough knowledge of the energy mandates, programs, and processes is essential to managing the energy program, seeking resources, addressing installation requirements and problems. You will have knowledge of contracting laws and policies, including techniques of contracting operations. You will have knowledge of procedures of department contracting requirements along with administrative laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to the administration of the energy program. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to inform and influence diverse audiences including senior civilian and military decision makers.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing an energy/water management program for an organization based on organizational goals and resource requirements; 2) Researching legislation, studies, policies, and procedures to provide guidance on an organizational energy program; 3) Managing energy mandates, programs, and processes essential to the energy program; and 4) Interpreting policy and regulations to resolve energy program conflicts or issues.
