FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.
Major duties
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management for an organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will advise on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support an organization's programs and activities. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will utilize financial management systems to extract data, identify and resolve problems, and maintain data integrity. You will review and analyze accounting data and reports to provide recommendations to management.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration (e.g. formulating budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities; reviewing and evaluating budget requests; control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures; and developing, determining, and interpreting budgetary policies and practices).
