What you'd do

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Plans and Programs Division (SP10) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.

Major duties

You will support all Government property segments relevant to SSP (GE-R, OM and S-O, OM and S-R and OM and S-T) within the SSP Enterprise (including D5LE, D5LE2, CPS, SLCM-N and program support), as necessary. You will report to SP1342 Supervisory Industrial Property Management Specialist (Command Property Officer/Property Section head). You will coordinate with property personnel, SSP contract officers, Branch and Major programs within the enterprise and other agencies/groups may be required. You will maintain and enforces SSP property processes and ensures accurate reporting of all applicable SSP-owned property within the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR). You will facilitate quarterly/semi-annual data calls and financial reporting requirements. You will ensure lifecycle property management is maintained for all SSP-owned property. You will contribute to the command knowledge for the field of financial management as related to property management, accounting concepts, principles and practices.

What you need to qualify

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector monitoring and reconciling data interfaces between Navy ERP (financial ledger) and other systems to guarantee complete and accurate financial reporting, performing financial reporting and internal control management for property accounting and/or accountability; supporting property segment in Navy's Financial Statement audit and/or maintaining accounting records, furnishing accounting data, preparing, reviewing and analyzing accounting reports.
