Major duties

You will manage the SWFLANT training program by serving as Training Administrator for a full range of educational and instructional areas for both Civilian and Military personnel. You will administer the SWFLANT Training Program in broad areas for both Civilian and Military personnel. You will manage the Qualifications, Checklists, and Training (QCT) system. You will develop policy, instructions and procedures governing overall management of the Training Program. You will serve as Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Coordinator for both Civilian and Military personnel. You will provide management advisory and consulting services on a wide range of training matters for broad specialty areas and assigned functions. You will advise key officials, board members and committee’s civilian and military managers on aspects of training program requirements as they relate to assigned specialties. You will conduct training needs assessments for positions with relatively difficult to understand work processes or with fairly specialized skills.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing comprehensive training programs by developing, delivering, and evaluating training while overseeing contracts and training systems to support mission readiness. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
