PROGRAM ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Frigate FF(X) Program Office of DPAE COMBATANTS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15 grade levels. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range may be capped at GS-15, Step 05, which is equivalent to $191,850. If you're current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched.
Major duties
You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities related to the acquisition of the FF(X) including contract management. You will serve as the program office point of contact for external organizations on all acquisition related matters. You will provide expert advice and guidance on budget and financial management strategies and approaches as they relate to the principles of supporting and acquiring FF(X). You will ensure the technical adequacy and accuracy of completed assignments and assist in resolving problems that arise from ambiguous and conflicting priorities, policies and regulations. You will apply knowledge in analyzing procedures, organizational structure, and other subjects of management that are characteristically unstable, wide in scope, and composed of many high-level, complex tasks. You will represent the organization, as an analytical expert, within and outside the Command, and to resolve different and entrenched viewpoints. You will plan, develop, review, submit, and defend all required documentation and data associated with the milestone processes for all FF(X) Program milestone events.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating program operations, processes, or procedures (e.g. improvement initiatives, strategic planning, budget and financial management, performance, scheduling, problem resolution, or contract management) to ensure compliance with established operational requirements for the design, development, modernization, maintenance, or construction of surface ships.
