What you'd do

You will serve as a FOREIGN MILITARY ASSISTANCE SPECIALIST (Country Program Manager) in the Country Program Management Division of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.

Major duties

You will manage the Foreign Military Sales and Security Cooperation Education and Training Programs (SCETP) objectives for foreign countries working with Naval Education and Training Command programs. You will coordinate quantitative and qualitative foreign training and education requirements with the program owners and end users. You will provide technical advice for foreign militaries and the follow-on requirements associated with those activities. You will develop training programs and pipelines to meet overall country and student education and training needs.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the training associated with Foreign Military Sales and Security Cooperation Education and Training Programs (SCETP) objectives for foreign countries.; 2) Working with quantitative and qualitative foreign training and education requirements, making judgements based upon current policy and extenuating circumstances; 3) Providing technical advice for the foreign militaries; and 4)Representing a component of the Department of the War as a responsible authority for aspects of military education.
