TUSCALOOSA,ALABAMA Salary $75,431 (Step 01) - $98,066 (Step 10) LAKEWOOD,COLORADO Salary $83,265 (Step 01) - $108,251 (Step 10) First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level. This is not a remote position.
Major duties
The primary duties of this position are: Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal staff, organizational counterparts, and higher-level authorities to coordinate and support assigned program responsibilities. Evaluates program and business operations by analyzing program-related data to identify trends, assess performance and recommend solutions to operational or policy issues. Provides direction and guidance to program and staff in the development and preparation of multi-year and long-range project planning Identifies data requirements to support program evaluations and analyzes statistical data to monitor program performance, trends and outcomes. Plans, coordinates, and assists leadership with the establishment of operating methods and procedures for accomplishment of program and/or project mission. Analyze program-related data and identify and analyze program or policy issues. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, working groups, and ad hoc committees to analyzed program issues, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of program changes.
What you need to qualify
Applicants must meet the following to qualify for the GS-11 level: Must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-09 work: 1) Participating in the identification and development of data required for use in the management and direction of programs; 2) preparing acquisition documents for procurement actions; 3) researching program needs and establishing procedures for program requirements. OR You could otherwise qualify on the basis of Education having successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related (54 semester hours, 81 quarter hours, or the equivalent).NOTE: You must submit copies of your college transcripts. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Possess combination of appropriate specialized experience (as described above) and graduate education (as described above) that is beyond the second year of progressive graduate study to meet the qualification requirements for this position. NOTE: You must submit copies of your college transcripts. Time-In-Grade: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower-grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b). You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements for the position by the closing date of the announcement.
