What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Commander Navy Region Hawaii of NAVAL STATION.

Major duties

You will perform duties including work development, planning, assignment, scheduling and review. You will provide guidance, instructions, and decision-making to subordinate employees on technical and administrative matters. You will determine personnel qualifications and evaluate performances of subordinate employees. You will recommend training, promotion, and reassignment of subordinate personnel. You will be responsible for providing direct supervision for the Facility Management Specialists and Installation Energy Managers within the Requirements Branch. You will be responsible for providing active facility management for all customers and supported commands within the area of responsibility.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience preparing, justifying, and administering the program budget. Experience applying sound resource management principles, business or industry best practices, and applicable policies, regulations, and laws to support operations. Experience aligning resources with policy and the strategic direction and priorities. Experience overseeing procurement and contracting to achieve desired results. Experience monitoring expenditures and using cost-benefit thinking to set priorities. Experience providing administrative services for the maintenance, repair, or modification of facilities.
