SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Public Works Business Line of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Major duties
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities of GCPC Buyers to include daily activities of purchasing and receipting, and prepares schedules or completion of work. You will hear and resolve complaint from employees, or referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager. You will recommend awards or bonuses for non-supervisory personnel and changes in position classification, subject to approval by higher-level officials, or others. You will be responsible for reviewing purchase cardholder's monthly statements while serving as a liaison between with the Agency Program Coordinator (APC).
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding of federal procurement regulations, with specific experience in applying Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP); 2) Executing and reconciling procurements using a Government Purchase Card (GPC) and other methods like purchase orders and blanket purchase agreements; 3) Analyzing vendor quotes, determining responsiveness, and administering procurement actions from solicitation to closeout; and 4) Coordinating with internal customers and vendors to resolve procurement issues, such as billing errors, delivery delays, and non-compliance.
