SUPERVISOR
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the C2 DEPARTMENT (CODE 530) of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Major duties
You will supervise a branch of personnel consisting of technical and administrative specialists. You will establish performance expectations; evaluate employee contributions; recommend awards, promotions, and disciplinary actions; provide technical and career guidance; and establish training plans. You will lead or participate in division and/or department councils, special projects, or working groups. You will participate in strategic planning efforts for the division and/or department. You will support Equal Opportunity (EEO) programs; process improvement initiatives; demonstrate Navy Core Values in human resource management, property management, procurement and finance. You will foster open communications and apply High Performance Organizational concepts.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading strategic planning efforts, working groups, and/or special projects, contributing to the design, engineering, architecture, implementation and/or management of Command and Control (C2) Information Technology (IT) systems, providing technical and project management oversight, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
