HOUSING MANAGER
What you'd do
You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER in the HOUSING DEPARTMENT of US NAVAL BASE GUAM .
Major duties
You will supervise and administer the planning and execution of the family housing program. You will develop regional policies and procedures for administering government housing, inspections, resident relations, furnishings management and related housing functions. You will provide input and supporting documents for congressional and public inquiries regarding the regional housing program. You will administer a comprehensive residents' relations program to ensure proper integration into the community and continued satisfaction. You will implement policies and procedures pertaining to the operation and management of family and private rental housing. You will research, implement and evaluate energy conservation measures and provide guide to contractors and residents.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Serving as the regional housing authority responsible for supervising and administering the planning, budgeting, and execution of the family housing program, directly overseeing a diverse portfolio of operations, maintenance, and multi-million dollar military construction (MILCON) projects. - Formulating, defending, and submitting the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and housing regional budgets to Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), regional commanders, and business offices. - Leading short- and long-range facilities planning, conducts structural condition surveys, and coordinates formal government inspections to ensure contractor compliance and quality control. - Implementing Navy, CNO, and CNIC directives while developing regional policies and procedures for government housing administration, resident relations, and furnishings management.
