MWR Motor Vehicle Operator
What you'd do
This position is located in the Food and Beverage Division of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department for NAS Lemoore. The Incumbent performs the duties of a Motor Vehicle Operator, responsible for picking up orders and supplies, delivery of takeout food orders and for the daily maintenance and cleanliness of equipment.
Major duties
Delivers food orders to Patrons (ie: Pizza, Spaghetti, soda) on board station. Ensures vehicles are properly maintained and reliable. Maintains trip records or logs showing departure time, trip mileage, and other required reporting information. Prepares reports and paperwork as required. Maintains cleanliness of area surrounding the building such as exterior walkways and yards. Picks up trash and debris found around the facility or caused by operation. Other duties as assigned.
What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess: Skill to read and understand a road map to determine the shortest and safest route. Knowledge of defensive driving techniques to avoid accidents to transport items safely. Knowledge and skill to conduct preventative maintenance of vehicles. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and obtain a food handlers certificate. Must be able to answer telephones and take delivery orders. Must be courteous, friendly and able to work well with others.
