What you'd do

You will serve as a ADMINSTRATIVE OFFICER in the INFORMATION WARFARE TRAINING GROUP GULFPORT of NAVMETOCPRODEVCEN.

Major duties

You will serve as a Administrative Officer responsible for planning, administrative, and control of all aspects of the Training Support Department. You will work closely with command leadership and provides guidance and support to the Commanding Officer regarding all aspects of admin, and FM. You will review and approve work plans for subordinates. You will interview, and recommend employees for selection, reassignment, and promotion. You will manage and oversee the full range of administrative services that support the command’s internal operations. You will be the principal liaison with the Human Resources Office (HRO) and the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR-Norfolk), coordinating closely with all civilian personnel. You will serve as the command’s lead official for financial operations, budget execution, and business process oversight.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Directing and managing a full range of administrative services, including correspondence, records management, internal controls, and human resources liaison functions. - Leading financial operations, budget formulation and execution, and the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development process. - Leading a team of personnel to provide administrative, financial, and business support services to an organization. - Interpreting and applying administrative regulations and financial policies (e.g., PPBE, travel systems, purchase card programs) to advise senior leadership and ensure compliance.
