SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Major duties
You will be responsible for the operation of Fire Stations, and the maintenance and upkeep of fire apparatus and equipment. You will conduct completion of preliminary fire investigations on all fire appearing to have significant damage. You will work daily with other Fire Protection Division officers on matters pertaining to the operation of the division on day to day operations, resolving work problems and coordinating efforts. You will prepare, review and check all pertinent Fire Protection Division correspondence, reports and records. You will attend meeting with Public Works personnel when planning building and structures in order to ensure compliance with existing Fire Code.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Overseeing the operation of Fire Stations, and maintenance of fire equipment; AND conducting fire investigations on fires with significant damage.
