SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST in the Systems Acquisition Group, Cost & Schedule Analysis Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Major duties
You will provide leadership, technical expertise, and oversight to ensure the effective execution of team objectives, customer requirements, and alignment with organizational goals. You will establish and guide technical methodologies, standards, and best practices within the functional area, offering expert advice and solutions to complex challenges. You will foster collaboration across teams, monitor performance, and serve as a liaison between leadership and team members to ensure successful implementation of initiatives, advancement of priorities, and delivery of high-quality results. You will ensure the application of appropriate contractual cost and schedule reporting requirements for upcoming procurements and government projects. You will ensure the continuous improvement and effectiveness of Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and tools to support organizational objectives. You will review proposed legislation with potential significant impacts on agency programs, responsible for developing, interpreting, and evaluating guidance to ensure high-quality and reliable analyses. You will maintain direct contact with high-level technical and management officials within government agencies, participating in reviews, discussions, and meetings with various groups. You will maintain working knowledge of the latest operations research or industrial engineering theories, methods, and techniques associated specifically with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related professional disciplines. You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band (NM-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Applying knowledge of the concepts, principles, and methods of earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development for air weapons systems/subsystems and acquisition strategies; 2) Providing overall technical direction and leadership to multi-disciplined teams and coordinating functions between various groups to complete earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development products; 3) Communicating earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development briefs at various leadership levels.
