This SECURITY OFFICER position, is located in the Air National Guard (ANG) Security Forces Squadron and is part of the CA 146 AW.
Major duties
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 5 years. Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the SECURITY OFFICER, GS-0080-13, is to serve as the Senior Security Officer (Squadron Commander) over the Security Forces Squadron and all aspects of Integrated Defense, Law Enforcement, Air Base Ground Defense, Force Protection, and Anti-Terrorism as the Defense Force Commander (DFC) and Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO). The incumbent of this position must be assigned as the Drill Status Commander. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
What you need to qualify
SECURITY OFFICER, GS-0080-13: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-12 level experience in Experience in developing, implementing, executing, and managing guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to a variety of work situations and various levels of security controls; Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Ability to Lead or Supervise Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Program Management Risk Assessment and Management
