Major duties

Serves as the primary point of contact for online marketing, ensuring all web content is accurate, current, accessible, and compliant with higher-level command and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with supervisors, managers, and IT specialists to implement, update, and maintain website initiatives and digital marketing tools. Evaluates user requirements and provides guidance on website design features, functionality, and ongoing maintenance responsibilities. Assists in developing marketing plans and producing promotional materials to support MWR programs and initiatives. Communicates and distributes MWR promotions through multiple media channels and supports the planning and coordination of annual MWR special events.

What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years experience in marketing. Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks. Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CS4 (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, lnDesign) is preferred as well as specialized education obtained in course work related to marketing, interactive communications or another related field. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents.
