Major duties

This position is located in the Trust Fund Branch, Administration Division, and is under the supervision of the Chief, Trust Fund Branch. Exercises supervisory authority over three (3) Section Chiefs and six (6) Regional Trust Fund Administrators. Responsible for the coordination between Sections on Trust Fund activities at the Headquarters and assists the Chief in administering the overall program. Coordinates, for the Chief, various other program oversight activities including the development and revision of general policy and maintenance of the financial integrity of the revolving Trust Fund. Reviews and analyzes financial statements and management reports of the Trust Fund.

What you need to qualify

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position. Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience designing, directing and/or providing oversight and guidance for the development, implementation and maintenance of automated financial systems. Experience in the areas of finance, budget, strategic planning, computers and general management, and a general knowledge of Trust Fund policies and procedures. Experience with the operation and maintenance of the systems and develop of the Inmate Telephone System (ITS), the Trust Fund Accounting and Commissary Systems (TRUFACS), and TRULINCS Applications and Operations Section. Experience overseeing the operation of the Commissaries, the inmate telephone system, TRULINCS, and the Warehouse and Laundry operations. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities. **Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.**
