FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANLYST forNAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Major duties
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will execute modifications to financial systems, programs, and/or operations and establish criteria and other means to assess, investigate, or analyze a variety of unusual problems and conditions. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating extensive knowledge of administrative and financial management systems. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Exploring and researching alternate funding methods; 2) Working within budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations; 3) Formulating budget estimates for programs with significantly changed funding requirements; and 4) Identifying, analyzing and resolving a range of budgetary problems.
