PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AUTOMOTIVE)
What you'd do
You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AUTOMOTIVE) in the TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS (TR) of NAVAL STATION. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
Major duties
You will arrange or make adjustments to production schedules for optimum production processes. You will identify a need for and know where/how to gather information, organize and maintain information or information management systems, determine its importance and accuracy, and communicate it by a variety of methods. You will schedule production work based on production line or shop capacity, priority, and due date. You will determine the status of production work in progress with knowledge of managing production work, projects, or operations.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewed requests for construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, replacement and other services, to include, special projects, engineering scopes, studies and designs, contracts; 2) Performs cost accounting and work order tracking for both in-house and contract execution; 3) Schedules projects for efficient and timely execution by in-house workforces and contracts; and 4) Communicating orally and in writing with all levels of an organization on production control issues.
