FACILITY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FACILITY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Commander Navy Region Hawaii of PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY.
Major duties
You will have that knowledge and experience interpreting and developing regulations and policies related to facility management. You identify, receive and evaluate requests for facility projects and services from customers, to determine feasibility, scope of work, and implementation into the master project list. You will ensuring task are completed within scope within budget, and accomplished in a manner with the least disruption to daily operations. You will have experience in identifying and correcting facility discrepancies, and the submission of work requests to higher level maintenance for discrepancies that require specialized skillsets/ certifications. You will be able to work in conditions of moderate discomfort, such as adverse weather, ongoing construction, and climbing at high working levels.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Utilizing facility electrical, mechanical, and ventilation systems to advise on repairs and alterations. 2. Utilizing PMRF Public Works (PW) procedures for work requests, as well as knowledge of the Shore Facilities Planning System and CMMS database systems like MAXIMO. 3. Performing quality assurance methods and principles to plan and accomplish a variety of work assignments to include interpreting and applying technical specifications for quality audits, evaluations, and investigations. 4. investigate, analyze, and develop recommendations to develop and present complex technical and non-technical information, both in writing and orally.
