Trust Fund Systems Manager (Regional Trust Fund Administrator)

Major duties
Serves as the Regional Trust Fund Administrator for a region within the Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Providence guidance to institution and regional staff on the proper use and implementation of the TRUBLE trouble ticket tracking system to ensure accurate and timely resolution of institution and region Trust Fund System issues. Serves as the TRUACCESS "Role Manager" for approval of access of all regional staff to various TRUNET systems. Identifies managerial data and documentation requirements and formulates planning and reporting processes to provide both broad and specific financial, operational, and intelligence data which will facilitate achievement of program goals and objectives. Provides technical guidance and advice on Trust Fund issues, including use of the Trust Fund appropriation, fiscal and operational policies and procedures, and TRUNET functionality and operations to the Regional Director, Chief Executive officers and their department heads.
What you need to qualify
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position. Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience in providing ongoing technical advice, interpretation and analysis for data retrieved by regional and institution Executive Staff using the TRUSEEQ application. Experience identifying managerial data and documentation requirements and formulating planning and reporting processes to provide both broad and specific financial, operational, and intelligence data which will facilitate achievement of program goals and objectives. Experience conducting staff assistance visits to explore the utilization of staff, space, and Trust Fund resources analyzing their use with a view toward maximizing the effectiveness and profitability of all Trust Fund Operations. Experience reviewing and evaluating the significance of Trust Fund programs and operations, correlating data and events into broad system of operational, functional, and financial controls. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience.
