About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security Range, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Clarksville, Tennessee about 45 miles northwest of Nashville.
Major duties
Serve as the Range Supply Management Officer and Direct Supervisor for the Range Operations Support section. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term and long-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work. Monitor and track expenditures of allocated funds, Operations and Maintenance Appropriations (OMA) and Other Procurement, Army (OPA) for the organization. Approve all purchases and reviews orders for accuracy and completeness. Oversee the daily acquisition of supplies and services by providing advice and assistance in resolving supply support problems.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Interpreting and applying distribution management policies and procedures; Resolving conflicting issues concerning supply management operations; and Preparing inventory lists and adjusting property records as required to ensure accuracy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical) Inventory Management Manages Human Resources Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
