This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood, Aquatics. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. *This announcement is open continuous; closing 11/09/2026 or until the position is filled. Weekly reviews and lists will be sent to management starting 24 AUG 2026; additional lists may be sent at management request.*

Major duties

Acts as water safety instructor. Manages all swimming lessons and instructs when scheduled. Develops swim program according to students' ability and promotes students to higher level of swimming according to their skills. Instructs all levels of swimming and appropriate strokes, to include; front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke and butterfly. Introduces and instructs safety and survival skills to students, when appropriate to level of instruction. Instructors work with lifeguards to ensure that swim lessons are safe at all times. Teach students from age groups of infant through adults. Performs other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Water Safety Instructor Certification Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) First Aid Certification Highly desirable possession of a Lifeguard Certification (Certificates issue by American Red Cross, Ellis @ Associates, Star Guard or other nationally recognized agencies are acceptable and MUST be uploaded at time of application.) **Your resume should be clear and specific.
