SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION DIVISION DIRECTOR
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION DIVISION DIRECTOR in the PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORATE of PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
Major duties
You will lead and supervise the overall Production Division at the PWD Installation level and will be responsible for the quality and timelines of the work produced. You will supervise a team of civilian (US and local national) and military personnel and will be responsible for all financial operation issues associated with the Division. You will formulate long-range plans, policies and goals for the Production Division and ensure that it supports the Strategic Operations and Financial Plans of the command. You will ensure installation guidance and regulations are followed by all members of the Production Division. You will identify external and internal systems requiring improvement and effects changes in work distribution, manpower utilization, and use of facilities and services. You will plan and establish goals and objectives for all Transportation Operations and Maintenance.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Thorough understanding of Public Works Directorate activities, including Facilities Management(FSRM) & Sustainment (ST), Utilities and Energy Management (UEM), and Transportation (TR). 2. Operation and maintenance of electrical, steam, sewage, and water distribution systems. 3. The position requires responsibility for the estimating, planning, and execution of all maintenance and construction projects managed by the Production Division. 4. Actively supervises civilians through multiple levels, assigns work based on priorities and employee capabilities, and provides technical oversight..
