What you'd do

You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTERPort Hueneme.

Major duties

You will perform the role of Enterprise Portfolio Manager in which duties align to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division's (NSWCPHD) goals of establishing an Enterprise Software Governance Program. You will assist in the responsibility for Information Technology Procurement Request (ITPR) processing and IT Material and Service Procurement for NSWCPHD. You will establish an annual action calendar, coordinate and execute the scope of enterprise software and hardware procurement, and communicate with procurement managers. You will reduce duplicative license purchase activities and support effective license management and reuse. You will be responsible for assisting in the establishment of the enterprise software license management strategy and manage the scope of enterprise licensing. You will recommend consolidated procurement actions for cost savings and support actions required by the procurement calendar/schedule. You will manage and execute enterprise licensing data calls and support the sustainment and utilization of Department of Navy Enterprise License Agreements (ELA).

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS- 09/10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying and interpreting Information Technology related regulations, directives, instructions, policies and procedures to include procurement and contracting to plan, evaluate work, set priorities, and accomplish Information Technology objectives.
