REGIONAL DISPATCH CENTER MANAGER
What you'd do
You will serve as a REGIONAL DISPATCH CENTER MANAGER in the Region Dispatch Center of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.
Major duties
You will manage a regional dispatch center for an organization. You will monitor workforce performance to identify training and development needs for employees. You will advise employees, supervisors, and managers on regulations and workforce planning policies. You will develop long range plans (e.g., future staffing requirements, system requirements, integrating other organizations) for regional dispatch center coverage.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a formal supervisor or team lead, with direct responsibility for managing workload distribution, setting performance standards, and guiding professional development. 2) Interpreting law enforcement policies. 3) Directing, mentoring, and evaluating multi-disciplinary staff within a high-tempo operational environment (such as a Regional Dispatch Center) to ensure mission readiness and continuous professional development. 4) Developing and executing formal performance plans, administering incentive awards, and resolving highly complex employee grievances, disputes, or administrative conflicts.
