Major duties
Responsible for technical and functional planning, programming, implementation, program and project management, and systems integration of a wide range of C4 modernization efforts and programs. Provides direction and guidance in the management of programs from USASOC, USSOCOM, DA and DOD agencies. Develops and defends resource requirements to accomplish current and planned operations. Establishes and maintains close working relationships with HQDA, DISA, USSOCOM, other military departments and Governmental agencies, in planning, implementing and reviewing work to ensure appropriate responsiveness and mission accomplishment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Leading and directing enterprise-level Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4), Information Technology (IT), and cybersecurity programs supporting complex Department of Defense organizations, 2) Coordinating the planning, programming, integration, modernization, and lifecycle management of tactical communications, network operations, information assurance, systems integration, and continuity of operations (COOP) initiatives while ensuring compliance with Army, USSOCOM, and DoD policies, 3) Providing senior technical advice to executive leadership, represented the organization at high-level interagency and joint forums, developed and defended program resources, and led cross-functional modernization efforts involving architecture, acquisition, governance, and cybersecurity, and 4) Overseeing multidisciplinary civilian and military personnel by establishing priorities, managing performance, developing the workforce, and ensuring mission accomplishment through effective leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Assurance Leadership Operating Systems Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
