Major duties
You will translate complex customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications to ensure technical teams deliver effective solutions. You will plan and manage the lifecycle of complex engineering programs, actively balancing project costs, schedules, and technical risks. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to troubleshoot system failures, remove technical roadblocks, and resolve complex integration challenges. You will oversee system testing, modernization, and contractor performance to ensure all technical activities comply with organizational standards. You will deliver clear technical reports and presentations to executive leaders, enabling informed decisions that align with strategic objectives.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NT-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the technical execution, integration, and life-cycle support of complex engineering systems and programs to translate high-level customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications, direct multi-disciplinary technical teams in resolving system integration challenges, and evaluate project cost, schedule, and performance metrics for ensuring maximum operational readiness, meeting strategic program objectives, and delivering integrated technical solutions to operational forces.
