About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. Major duties
Manage the Business Ops/Int Div using guidelines such as local and higher command level policies/regulations, technical and operational guidance from the supervisor, and a variety of technical and engineering regulations, standards, and policies. Provide the full range of real property and facilities maintenance, energy conservation, and related engineering services for the installation, within the technical guidance and program scope established at the command level. Prepare the Director's Annual Work Plans to include the financed and unconstrained programs for Real Property Maintenance Activity (RPMA) projects and Base Operations Support (BASOPS) large maintenance requirements. Maintain contact with subordinate supervisors, DPW Division Chiefs, senior commander, tenant organizations, etc., to exchange information on operational requirements, problems, etc.; and obtain support necessary to ensure effective operations. Evaluate effectiveness of internal and external engineering operations through review and analysis of production reports and inspections. Responsible for executing the Installation Status Report (ISR) Part 1, Facilities, ISR Part 2, Environmental, and Part 3, Services, under the guidance of the installation Plans, Analysis, and Integration Office (PAIO). Supervise the preparation of the DPW portions of Activity Based Costing (ABC) and Management (ABM). Is responsible for the DPW portion of Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) as well as website development and management. Manage the operation of the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS), including data entry, updates, data quality assurance and data analysis. Lead directorate efforts in developing documents supporting the OMB Circular A76 sourcing competition. Supervise the activities of supervisory, administrative, specialist, program and management analysts, geographical information analysts, and other technical personnel engaged in the division operations.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
