Major duties
Major Duties of the Position: Will perform faculty duties in the Systems Engineering Program, within the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Integrated Engineering Sciences, United States Air Force Academy. Will teach undergraduate courses in Systems Engineering, participate in course and curriculum development, and advise students. Will conduct research and and scholarly activities which contribute to the body of knowledge. Will perform appropriate administrative functions to ensure timely and effective course offerings.
What you need to qualify
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A relevant earned Doctorate degree from an accredited academic institution before employment begins (projected Fall 2026); demonstrated or presumptive potential for effective teaching, research, consultation, and other scholarly and professional activities. ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES: Systems Engineering or directly related field. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: An earned Doctorate degree in Systems Engineering, or Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with systems engineering experience, or a closely related discipline.
