Major duties
Major Duties: Receives and loads hot and cold food items for delivery to retails and services locations. Replenishes merchandise, monitor quality of food products and ensure adequate stocking levels. Obtains signatures for delivered items at each location and return undeliverable items to the facility with documented reasons. Drives motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 10,000 pounds throughout instillation under limited traffic conditions at low speeds. Performs basic truck maintenance, such as refueling, visual inspections, reporting malfunctions, and maintaining cleanliness. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicated positively in a friendly manner. Takes actions to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standard, Promplty reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO programs and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
What you need to qualify
Skills and Knowledge: Basic skill sufficient to start, stop, and back-up a motor vehicle. Knowledge of the height, width, length, and weight of vehicle to operate safely. Ability to read and understand installation maps and other locator documents for finding various buildings and facilities. Ability to load and arrange cargo to prevent shifting, falling, and breakage. Driver's license is required. Responsibility: Receives instructions from supervisor on route or specific trip assignment. Meets delivery deadlines and follows assigned delivery routes. Reports malfunctions of the food warmer equipment, coolers, and kiosk to management. Work is checked and evaluated for timeliness, adequate sticking of merchandise, and the safe and accurate recording and transport of food products. Physical Effort: Light to moderate effort is required in bending, stooping, lifting and stocking. Lifts and carries objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance. Working Conditions: Works both inside and outside and occasionally is exposed to bad weather conditions. Must wear issued protective gear.
