THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER T32, PDD2427000 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard.

Major duties

This position is located at the 162WG in Tucson, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is to manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) which consists of operations and maintenance of a fuel distribution system that includes a fuels laboratory, cryogenic storage, bulk storage, base service station, fuels information service center, mobile fueling operations and the financial account management for missile propellants, aviation fuels, ground fuels and cryogenics utilized in support of aircraft, motor vehicles, engine test cells, powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), generators and heating systems required to support the Wing mission and transient aircraft. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

What you need to qualify

Military Grades: SSgt/E-5 to MSgt/E-7 Compatible Military Assignments: AFSC 2F051 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 18 months experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling fuel systems and components. Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.
