What you'd do
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the FSS Marketing Office in the Gunfighter Service Center (Building 2610) at Mountain Home AFB, ID. This is a Regular Part Time position with 20 guaranteed hours per week, however may work up to 40 hours per week. This position includes benefits: Medical, Dental, Life, 401K, and Retirement. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
Major duties
Assists in collection, compiling, writing, and producing a variety of publicity materials for flyers and other marketing materials. May transmit and receive documents and messages electronically using a personal computer or workstation that is networked or linked to other computers or workstations throughout the work area or organization. Determines proper formats and internal arrangements based on the nature and purpose of the materials. Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, and maintaining the filing system. Oversees the FSS print shop, includes creating designs, printing, and formatting prints for external customers. Manages inventory and ordering for the print shop. Ensures stock and/or supplies are on hand and adequate to conduct business. Maintains security cash and fixed assets. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Must have experience which provided a basic knowledge of correspondence formats, grammar and spelling; ability to perform research, select and arrange material, compose correspondence, and maintain organized files. Experience in Adobe CS4, Microsoft Office, and Corel Draw preferred. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and the public both orally and in writing.
