Financial Management Analyst
What you'd do
You will serve as a GG-12 Financial Management Analyst working in a senior capacity performing assignments and completing on-the-job and formal training related to a variety of duties. You will carry out specific assignments with minimal supervision associated with analyzing, advising, processing, and recording of financial documentation and data. This position is located at CWG-SIX in Fort Meade, Maryland.
Major duties
You will review and enter financial data in the Command Financial Management System (CFMS) and Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS). You will assist in maintaining labor and non-labor financial accounts. You will ensure assigned obligation documents are entered into the Command Financial Management System (CFMS) and Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS) and worked to completion as quickly as possible. You will serve as a backup to the Command Financial Defense Travel Administrator (FDTA) responsible for loading, monitoring, and updating funding levels as necessary. You will serve as the Standard Labor Data Collection and Distribution Application (SLDCADA) backup administrator ensuring timekeeping data for each payroll period is accurately reflected.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Complete assignments regarding routine tasks in the collection and analysis of financial data necessary to complete budget formulation data calls and budget execution exhibits; Utilize knowledge of financial management systems to assist in maintaining financial accounts and managing all assigned obligation documents; Review and evaluate financial program execution to ensure compliance with Financial Management Regulations (FMR).
