Major duties

Prioritizes and addresses substantive and complex issues impacting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of management and/or administrative programs that require an in-depth understanding of the organization's policies and objectives. Conducts management studies of the mission, function, administrative operations and other Site Support processes. Develops and recommends courses of action for the organization on a wide variety of taskings involving the administrative and/or management support mission of the Site. Manages all aspects of assigned programs/initiatives including planning, design, development, administration, evaluation, and documentation. Develops briefing charts, talking points, and other documents needed to manage programs/initiatives and report status.

What you need to qualify

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-09) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Performing a range of administrative and/or management support duties for all levels of management including developing and administering training sessions based on identified needs of the organization, and developing and administering career-focused services; evaluating program information to advise various levels of management on process improvement recommendations; preparing trainings, briefings, charts, and/or other documents needed to support organizational programs and initiatives for employees, managers, and/or supervisors. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
