EXECUTIVE OFFICER
What you'd do
You will serve as a EXECUTIVE OFFICER in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, White House Military Office of of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Major duties
You will plan and manage executive staff calendars, workload, training, and personnel actions. You will ensure overall calendar maintenance and synchronization, manage and monitor executive staff schedules to ensure meetings and other events are up-to-date and ensure briefing materials are received timely. You will identify the need for special projects and makes appropriate recommendations to WHMO senior leaders. You will participate in special projects and initiatives and perform special assignments. You will serve as a critical point person for incoming correspondence, reviews documents, memoranda, and other information requiring review and concurrence
What you need to qualify
Presidential Support Duty (PSD) approval is required. This is a National Security Position. Prior to reporting for duty, the incumbent shall be favorably adjudicated and approved for special access to Presidential Support Activities in accordance with DoD Directive 5210.55, (PSD Category II, minimum - Access to Presidential Support Facilities Special Access Program, Yankee White). Prior to selection, the applicant must be pre-screened for PSD suitability. The applicant must obtain and maintain PSD approval to remain eligible to hold the position. FOR GS 14 APPLICANTS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring overall calendar maintenance and synchronization; 2) Managing and monitoring executive staff schedules to ensure meetings and other events are up-to-date; 3) Participating in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments; and 4) Using MS Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) to accomplish routine to complex tasks. FOR GS 13 APPLICANTS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and managing executive staff calendars, workload, training, and personnel actions; 2) Scheduling conferences and reviewing conference packages for completeness, budget and expense reporting; 3) Receiving incoming correspondence, reviewing documents, memoranda and other information requiring concurrence; and 4) Assisting with the set-up, coordination and preparation of all meetings and Video teleconference requirements.
