UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (TITLE 32)
What you'd do
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD3021000 and is part of the TN 118th WING, Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization.
Major duties
As an UNIT PROGRM COORDINATOR, GS-0303-07, you will support the administration of military personnel management programs including requesting personnel actions such as promotions, evaluations, awards, and leave. Assist commanders, supervisors, and employees in understanding personnel policies and procedures. Assist higher graded specialists in areas critical to unit operations, ensuring adherence to Air Force policies. Serve as a point of contact for unit personnel and leadership regarding personnel management and administrative support.
What you need to qualify
Military Grades: E-3 through E-6 Compatible Military Assignments: 3F0XX GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training performing clerical, assistant, or technical work which requires knowledge of the procedures, established guidelines, and techniques; experience which demonstrates performed progressively responsible clerical, office or other work that indicates ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 12 months specialized experience knowledge of personnel management policies, administrative procedures, and automated systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS); experience, training and understanding of Air Force directives and local policies to provide accurate guidance and support.
