SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY)
What you'd do

Major duties
You will monitor enlisted authorizations and assignments in view of Navy Recruiting goals and needs. You will assist and advise management on civilian personnel practices and programs. You will gather, compile, and analyze data to identify trends, deficiencies and accomplishments. You will direct, monitor, and control operations and maintenance of base-level personnel data systems.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing current policies, procedures, and regulations to modify standard practices and develop solutions to personnel program issues; 2) Managing personnel actions (e.g., awards, promotions, schools, assignments, retirements and separations) in support of personnel program management; 3) Communicating, orally and in writing, to prepare and present correspondence, reports, and briefs; and 4) Utilizing software programs and office automation systems to support personnel programs.
