What you'd do

Major duties

You will serve as a subject matter expert, consultant and lead HR Specialists ensuring that various HR functions and actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements. You will be considered an expert in the Senior Executive Service Portfolio. You will research, interpret, analyze and apply various guidelines, policies and regulation. You will serve as a technical advisor to Department of Navy (DON) senior leadership and customers, providing advisory and support services on executive resources. You will serve as the principal DON official and program manager for interaction with the Department of War and other agencies regarding executive personnel matters.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience advising senior leadership on complex, high-level programs by providing technical advice and consultative services on issues related to Human Resources, professional, or other specialized workforce programs. Experience developing policies, programs, strategies and tools for Human Resources ensuring effective implementation of policy guidance and compliance with statutory requirements. Experience analyzing and assessing complex issues regarding Human Resources programs, including those not covered by existing precedents or requiring new methods for implementation.
