Major duties
As a Budget Analyst, you will: Plan, organize, and carry out the formulation and execution of the office budget, ensuring the effective integration of program and performance planning. Support assigned programs in the management of financial resources by ensuring funds are obligated and allocated in a timely manner. Provide expert advice to the staff on budget formulation, budget presentation, budget execution and the development of fiscal year and multi-year budget projections. Assure the accuracy of data and conformance with policies and guidelines.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Providing recommendations to senior level management or program managers on budget impacts. Reviewing, tracking, controlling and/or approving multiple types of funding sources in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations. Evaluating organization-wide financial goals and objectives or policies and strategies to assist managers with developing strategic financial operating plans.
