SUPV IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & CYBER SECURITY (ITACS) OFFICE of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Major duties
You will serve as a branch head, responsible for a wide range of Information Technology (IT) projects, programs and IT activities to support PHNSY and IMF You will provide long and short range, capital and strategic planning; development and implementation of systems and projects. You will provide workforce analysis and planning, policy standards guidance and development. You will provide resource and logistical management, and supervisory oversight for a team of IT Specialists. You will assign and review work of subordinates and identify training needs. You will provide authoritative technical and administrative assistance for all programs within area of responsibility. You will manage and execute local processes, protocols and procedures within AOR and ensure team is performing work in compliance with applicable regulations.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, developing or implementing information systems or projects; developing policy and standards guidance, and supporting resource and logistical management for an Information Technology or Cyber Security program. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
