What you'd do

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST on the Expeditionary Medical Systems team in the Program Office for Combat Support Systems (CSS) of MARCORSYSCOM/Portfolio Acquisition Executive-Marine Corps (PAE-MC).

Major duties

You will conduct research, analyze complex program information, and prepare documentation that supports project milestones while advising leadership on process improvements, recommendations, and effective problem solving. You will develop and manage project schedules, coordinate performance measures, prepare budget planning information, monitor financial execution, and report program status to support informed leadership decisions. You will develop contractual documentation, manage assigned project activities, coordinate with internal and external organizations, and ensure program objectives are achieved through effective planning and oversight. You will perform detailed analyses of complex program issues, gather and evaluate data, develop meaningful performance measures, and present clear recommendations that support critical organizational decisions. You will prepare and deliver detailed briefings, coordinate meetings and presentations, communicate emerging issues to leadership, and resolve challenges early to support successful project execution and informed decisions. You will evaluate management systems, assess organizational performance using advanced analytical methods, recommend improvements that strengthen program effectiveness, and ensure controls support efficient and accountable operations.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: -Expert knowledge and skill in the Defense Acquisition System. Includes knowledge of key activities and documentation requirements of each phase of the acquisition life cycle for all categories of programs; supporting and/or managing a project/program through its acquisition life cycle. -Expert knowledge and skill to achieve expressed goals and objectives of the program through interaction and coordination in a team environment, to include consistent interface with higher headquarters, including establishing positive working relationships with peers and subordinates as well as superiors both internal and external to the program. -Knowledge and skill executing the DoD planning, programming, budgeting and execution system.
