What you'd do

You will serve as a Senior Analyst in the Business Operations Office of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $155,521).

Major duties

You will serve as a focal point for operations support for department personnel and supervisors in order to execute direct work. You will apply independent judgment in decision-making and exercises originality, creativity, imagination, and initiative to solve complex problems. You will provide senior-level leadership, other analysts, and general oversight of work execution by assigning work and coordinating efforts of other team members to produce macro-level program analyses and reports. You will provide support with the department’s workforce shaping, recruiting and hiring, interview scheduling, awards, and training. You will assist immediate supervisor with administrative supervisory duties, such as approving leave and timekeeping, giving input for performance, hiring and other personnel actions.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NT-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Working within the operations of a department to include either financial, facilities, strategic planning, staffing, process improvement, or other behind the scenes actions that make the Department operate and adhere to policy and regulation. Examples of qualifying experience include being able to work well with others on the team and provide tasking; keeping personnel on the team accountable by voicing concerns to supervisor; and working in a very collaborative environemnt across Departments to include infrastructure, HR, safety, and other direct line codes.
