SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.
Major duties
You will supports NALC audit readiness through vigorous management of external audits and audit responses affecting NALC. You will serve as the first line supervisor for the Audit Support and Ammunition Management and Accountability Review (AMAR) Coordination branch. You will provide NAVSUP leadership and staff with quality independent management and coordination of all external audits. You will review internal and corrective actions proposals and replies, recommending modifications as necessary.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating an expert knowledge of auditing policies and processes. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of policies and processes for audits performed by external organizations is required to resolve audit issues and implement corrective actions. Candidate must be familiar with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance and experienced in coordinating external audits with agencies like GAO and the Inspector General. Requires the ability to use analytical and evaluative methods to assess data, processes, and policies, and to improve the organization's ability to report financially. Reviews internal corrective action proposals and replies, recommending modifications as necessary, instructs NALC SMEs regarding further steps necessary for full compliance with the corrective actions, and prepares official NALC responses. Must have the ability to lead collaborative efforts with military and civilian personnel within the command and with external stakeholders is a key requirement for this position. Must be able to develop and implement innovative, organic solutions to complex audit problems that are not supported by current IT systems.
